This is an easy, basic, pound cake. The recipe makes 2-3 loaves depending on the size of your pan. My handwritten recipe has the name Debbie Lutz on it but I don't know who that is so I'm not sure where I got this recipe.

Ingredients For sour cream loaf

1 ptsour cream

2 csugar
-
1/2 lbbutter or margarine (i use butter)

4eggs

3 cflour
-
2 tspbaking powder
-
2 tspbaking soda
-
2 tspvanilla (do not use imitation, ever!)

2 tspalmond extract

1 pinchsugar
-
1 pinchcinnamon
How To Make sour cream loaf

1Preheat over to 325 degrees

2Grease 2 or 3 loaf pans

3Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy

4Mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl.

5Add vanilla, almond and sour cream to butter mixture. Mix until well combined

6Add flour mixture in gradually, mixing well after each addition.

7Pour into greased loaf pans.

8Sprinkle tops with cinnamon and sugar.

9Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour until pick comes out clean.

10Let cool on wire rack before removing from pans.
