Every once in a while a client will serve us a special treat while we are working on their project. This is one that is wonderful. Not fancy, but very tasty. I try to get the recipe if all the crew likes it. Thanks, Marge. Recipe from Marge Harmon.

Ingredients For sour cream coffee cake

1 cbutter

2 csugar
-
4 lgeggs

1 tspvanilla

1 ptsour cream

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

2 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking powder
- FILLING

1 1/2 cchopped nuts

2 tspcinnamon

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
How To Make sour cream coffee cake

1Cream butter and 2 cups of sugar. Add and beat in one at a time the 4 eggs and vanilla.

2In a separate bowl: Add sour cream and soda and beat for one minute.

3Add creamed butter mixture together with the sour cream mixture. Add the flour and baking powder. Mix.

4Filling: Combine till crumbly the nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar

5Oven: 350 degrees Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan or large baking dish. First: Add 1/2 the batter, then sprinkle 1/2 the filling. Add rest of batter, then sprinkle the rest of the filling on top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes
