This is my husbands favorite recipe--- for the frosting! So I usually double the frosting and he eats that on his toast!!!

Ingredients For sour cream banana bars

1 1/2 csugar

1 csour cream
-
1/2 cunsalted butter, softened

2eggs

1 1/2 cmashed banana

2 tspvanilla

2 call-purpose flour

1 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 cchopped nuts
- BROWNED BUTTER FROSTING INGREDIENTS

1/4 cbutter
-
2 cpowdered sugar
-
1 tspvanilla
-
3 Tbspmilk
How To Make sour cream banana bars

1Heat oven to 375 & grease and flour jelly roll pan (15x10). Mix sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs in large mixer bowl on low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 1 minute

2Beat in bananas and vanilla on lo speed 30 seconds. Then beat in flour, salt, and baking soda on med. speed, scraping bowl occasionally for 1 minute. Stir in nuts and spread in pan

3Bake until light brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool. Frost with Browned Butter frosting (see recipe below) and cut into bars

4Browned butter frosting: Heat 1/4 c butter over medium heat until delicate brown; remove from heat and mix in 2 c. powdered sugar. Beat in 1 tsp vanilla and 3 tbsp. milk until smooth and of spreading consistency
