Everyone loves it even if you don't care for cheesecake this is still a great dessert. EVERYTIME I have made it I am asked for the recipe. It is very easy and quick so you can whip it up in no time. Serve warm is best, can be reheated as well =)

Ingredients For sopaipilla cheesecake

  • 3 pkg
    8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 pkg
    crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 stick
    butter melted

How To Make sopaipilla cheesecake

  • 1
    Unroll 1 pkg of the crescent rolls in the bottom of a greased 13x 9 inch pan. Whip cream cheese, sugar and vanilla and spread over crescent rolls. Top with second pkg of crescent rolls. Pour melted butter over crescent rolls and top with sugar and cinnamon mixture Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Tip...Optional...I have put 2 sticks of butter one I poured over the top and the other I melted in the cinnamon and butter and made that the topping...Both ways are excellent.
