Recipe from my favorite couple, the Neely's on Food Network!This cake is super moist and nutty and lemony and just...oh so good!

Ingredients For "sock it to me" cake
- FOR FILLING

1 1/4 cchopped pecans

3 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 1/2 tspground cinnamon
- FOR GLAZE

2 Tbsplemon juice, fresh
-
1 1/2 cconfectioners' sugar
-
2 Tbspmilk
- FOR CAKE
-
1 pkggolden butter cake mix
-
1 csour cream
-
1/3 cvegetable oil
-
1/4 csugar
-
2 Tbspall-purpose flour
-
4extra large eggs
How To Make "sock it to me" cake

1Preheat over to 375 degrees F, grease 13 x 9 in pan

2For Filling: In medium bowl stir together pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon until combined and pecans are fully coated

3For cake:In large bowl, add cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, sugar, 1/4 cup water, flour, and eggs. Beat all together until fully combined, about 4 min.

4Pour half of the batter into greased pan, spread pecan filling on top and swirl into batter. Pour remaining cake mix on top to cover completely.

5Bake in oven for about 30 min or until tooth-pick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool.

6For Glaze:In medium bowl, whisk together confectioners' sugar, lemon juice, and milk until no lumps.

7Once cake is cooled pour glaze on top. Cake is good a little warm or room temp!
