There are several postings called Snickers cake, but this one actually has Snickers in it! I always get rave reviews on this recipe. I always seem to make this in the fall, becuz the candy for Halloween is fresher!

Ingredients For snickers cake

  • CRUST
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 pkg
    german chocolate cake mix
  • FILLING
  • 1 pkg
    fun sized snickers (11 oz.)
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, room temp (8 oz.)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 lb
    powdered sugar

How To Make snickers cake

    Melt butter. Add to cake mix along with egg and stir well. Press in Pammed 9x13 pan. Set aside.

    Melt snickers slowly over low heat (I do in microwave) and stir. Once melted, add cream cheese and stir in until melted. Add eggs and combine well with fork or wooden spoon. Add powdered sugar and stir till combined.

    Pour snickers mix over crust. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting. These freeze well, but if you think you won't eat them till they're room temeperature, you are so wrong! They are wonderful frozen, too! (I didn't realize till about a month ago, that it is the same recipe as Gooey Butter Cake with the addition of Snickers!)
