I made this cake a long time ago for one of my kids birthday and it has been a favorite ever since.

Ingredients For snicker cake

  • 1 pkg
    german chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pkg
    kraft caramels
  • 1/3 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • 3/4- 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    walnut pieces

How To Make snicker cake

  • 1
    Mix cake mix as directed. Grease bottom of 9x13 pan. Pour 1/2 cake batter into cake pan. (2 1/4cup batter). Bake 20 min @ 350.

    Melt caramels, milk, margarine over low heat. Pour this mixture over cake.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel mixture & nuts over chips. Pour rest of cake batter over this & bake for 15 min. more. Do not overbake or cake will get dry and caramels will harden. You want the caramel to still be gooey. Doesn't need a frosting because it is very rich with the caramel mixture. Enjoy!! Let me know what you think of it. :)
