My family and friends love this Strawberry Cream Cake. I love it because it's moist, quick & easy and most of all GOOD! The cake that I made that is in the picture here is one I made for my Great-niece, Sarah for her 20th birthday...

Ingredients For simply strawberry cream cake

  • 1 box
    strawberry cake mix, (18.25 ounce) or (1) box pillsbury white cake mix (dry)
  • 1 box
    (4-serving size), sugar-free strawberry jello mix, (dry)
  • 3/4 c
    bottled lite strawberry daccari mix (without alcohol)
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • STRAWBERRY CREAM FROSTING:
  • 1/2 c
    smuckers' strawberry topping from an (11.25 oz. jar)
  • 1 - 12 oz. pkg
    frozen, whipped topping, lite, thawed
  • 1 box
    (4 serving size) strawberry cream, instant pudding/pie filling mix (dry)
  • 1/4 c
    bottled lite strawberry daccari mix (without alcohol)
  • 4 oz
    whipped cream cheese, softened
  • 6-8 drops
    red food coloring (optional)
  • 20 - 24 md
    fresh strawberries, optional (washed and dried throughly) optional garnish

How To Make simply strawberry cream cake

    PREHEAT: Oven to 350 degrees F. COAT: 9x13x2-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray, (Bakers' Joy). (This recipe makes 1- 9x13x2-inch cake).

    IN: Large mixing bowl, beat together ALL CAKE ingredients with electric mixer until well combined. TRANSFER: Batter into baking pan. BAKE: 30 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. COOL: On cooling rack, completely. TOP: Cake with prepared strawberry frosting and refrigerate at least one hour or overnight. GARNISH: With fresh strawberries if desired before serving. COVER: With cake cover. REFRIGERATE: Until ready to serve. ENJOY! ***REFRIGERATE: Leftovers in covered cake carrier***

    STRAWBERRY CAKE FROSTING: MIX: In medium-lg mixing bowl, whipped topping (thawed), Smuckers' strawberry topping, cream cheese, dry instant pudding/pie filling, bottled strawberry daccari mix and food coloring (optional) until well combined. FROST: Completely cooled cake and refrigerate one hour or overnight. GARNISH OR DECORATE: With fresh strawberries right before serving. SERVE & ENJOY! STORE: Leftovers in refrigerator. ***OPTIONS*** *** SIFT: Powdered sugar over cake lightly if you'd rather not use strawberry frosting.
