After I took this cake to work the first time I was always the one elected to bring birthday cake for parties. I use Glossy Cocoa Frosting on it (I will post that recipe next).

Ingredients For sheath cocoa cake

2 csifted flour
-
4 Tbspcocoa
-
2 csugar
-
1 tspsoda
-
1 tspcinnamon

dashsalt
-
1 cbutter or margerine

1 cwater
-
1 tspinstant coffee
-
1 tspvanilla
-
2eggs, slightly beaten
-
1/2 cbuttermilk
How To Make sheath cocoa cake

1Mix flour, cocoa, sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt together in large mixing bowl.

2Bring water and butter to a boil. Add instant coffee and vanilla to water.

3Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well.

4Add eggs and buttermilk and mix well.

5Bake in greased sheet cake pan at 350º for 20-25 minutes. Done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

6Frost in pan with Glossy Cocoa Icing (posting next).
