This is a family favourite and is often used for birthday cakes. It's rich and moist with a great flavour that stands by itself. Goes great with your favourite icing or glaze.

1 1/4 csugar

1/3 ccocoa

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

3/4 csalad dressing (do not use mayonaise) - miracle whip or off brand

1 cwater, cold

1 tspvanilla
How To Make salad dressing cake

1Preheat oven to 400F

2In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.

3Stir in salad dressing, cold water, and vanilla; mix well.

4Pour into two (2) greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.

5Bake for 35 - 40 mins.
