Ingredients For rum chocolate cake

1 pkgcake mix, chocolate

1 pkgpudding, chocolate

1/4 cdark rum
-
1.5 cmilk, cold

1/2 calmonds, slivered

1/2 coil
-
1/4 cwater, cold
-
1/2 cdark rum
-
4eggs
-
1 pkgpudding, chocolate

1 pkgwhipped topping mix
How To Make rum chocolate cake

1Preheat oven to 350; grease and flour two 9-inch layer cake pans.

2Combine all cake ingredients together in large bowl; blend well, then beat at medium mixer speed for 2 minutes.

3Turn into prepared pans; bake for 30 minutes or until cake tests done - Do not underbake.

4Cool in pans for 10 minutes; remove from pans, finish cooling on racks.

5Split layers in half horizontally; spread 1 cup filling between each layer and over top of cake. Stack.

6Keep cake chilled; serve cold.

7Optional: Garnish with chocolate curls.

8Filling: Combine milk, rum, pudding mix and topping mix in deep narrow-bottom bowl; blend well at high speed for 4 minutes, until light and fluffy.
