Ingredients For rose petal tea cake

  • 1/4 lb
    butter or margarine
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried rose petals
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    rosewater
  • 1 pinch
    pink food coloring

How To Make rose petal tea cake

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a small rectangular cake mold.
  • 2
    Blend butter and sugar with your hands until fluffy. Then add flour little by little.
  • 3
    Add rose petals, rose water, food coloring and eggs. Blend well until mixture is completely smooth.
  • 4
    Pour dough into mold and bake for about 30 mins. or until edges start to be golden and tip of knife inserted comes out dry.
