Ingredients For rolled oats cake

1 coatmeal

1 1/2 cboiling water

1 cbrown sugar

1 cwhite sugar

1/2 cshortening
-
2eggs
-
1/2 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla

1 1/2 cflour
How To Make rolled oats cake

1Combine oats and boiling water. Set aside.

2Mix together remaining ingredents. Add oatmeal mixture. Pour into a greased and floured 9 by 13 cake pan.

3Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tabelspoon butter, 1/4 cup milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Boil 3 minutes. Spoon over cake batter and bake @ 375 for 30 min.
