A great (easy to make) dessert for the Holidays! Mom always had this on Thanksgiving & Christmas We all loved it!

Ingredients For refrigerator cake

3/4 lbvanilla wafers

1/2 cbutter
-
3/4 cpowder sugar
-
2eggs
-
1 cchopped walnuts
-
2 1/2 canpineapple, crushed

2 cwhipped cream, sweetened

1 jarcherries
How To Make refrigerator cake

11. coarsely crush the vanilla wafers put half of them in a 9 by 13 baking dish.

2mix the butter & sugar until light & fluffy
-
3add the eggs & blend all together
-
4spread mixture over the wafers
-
5top with pineapple & nuts
-
6put whipped cream on & sprinkle the rest of the wafers over top

7add some cherries on top for decoration

8refrigerate overnight
