This is a recipe I came across about 10 years ago. I tweaked it some and it is a family favorite!

Ingredients For red velvet cake

1 pkggerman chocolate cake mix
-
1/4 cvegetable oil
-
1 bottlered food coloring
-
1 csour cream
-
3eggs
-
1/2 cmilk
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
1 stickmargarine, softened
-
1 box(8 oz) powdered sugar
-
1 tspvanilla
How To Make red velvet cake

1Mix cake mix, sour cream, milk, oil, food coloring and eggs together on low for 1 minute. After 1 minute, scrape down sides and mix batter an additional 2 minutes. Divide batter between the two 9 inch pans. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
