Ingredients For red & blue velvet cake frosting
- 3 TBSP. ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1 CUP BUTTER OR CRISCO SHORTENING
- 1 TSP. VANILLA
- 1 CUP MILK
- 1 CUP SUGAR
How To Make red & blue velvet cake frosting

1Cook flour and milk on low heat until thick.

2Cool.

3Cream sugar and butter and vanilla until fluffy.

4Add to cooled flour and milk mixture.

5Beat until mixture is like whipped cream.

6Spread on layers.

7Sprinkle with coconut or nuts if desired.

8Keep cake cool.
