Tres leches cake is a vanilla sponge cake with three types of milk poured over the top. We loved the twist to the classic Mexican dessert in these cups. They are creamy and have all the flavors of a tres leches cake without the work. Since this is a no-bake dessert, it's great for summer. A mixture of whole, evaporated, and condensed milk soaks into the crumbled pound cake. Top with a dusting of cinnamon, whipped cream, and a cherry for an adorable dessert. Tres leches cake is typically a soggy cake and these cups mimic that texture.

  • 1 pkg
    Sara Lee pound cake, crumbed (16 oz)
  • 3 LECHES SIROP
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • 6 oz
    evaporated milk
  • 6 oz
    condensed milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • TOPPING
  • cinnamon
  • maraschino cherries
  • whipped cream

How To Make quick tres leches cups

  • Whole, evaporate, and condensed milk in a bowl with vanilla.

    In a bowl place the whole, evaporate, and condensed milk. Add the vanilla and mix well.
  • Crumbled pound cake soaking in the milk.

    Soak the crumbed pound cake wth the 3 leches mix. Mix evenly.
  • Tres leches mixture scooped into a cup and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

    Scoop the mix into little cups like ice cream. Top it with whipped cream, cinnamon, and cherries. You can eat it right away or you can put it in the fridge for two hours until chilled.
