I remember Mom making this 30 years ago after she met my Dad, she would make it at holidays and for my brother Dean's birthdays; it is his favorite cake. This moist sweet cake doesn't need any frosting, great served as dessert or great for tea, coffee or a woman's luncheon.

1 pkgyellow cake mix

1 pkgsmall vanilla instant pudding mix

4eggs

3/4 coil

3/4 cred currant wine, or any red fruity wine. (mom says currant wine is the best.)

1 tspnutmeg
How To Make quick & easy fruit wine cake

1Combine all ingedients. Mix with electric beater about 5 minutes at medium speed.

2Pour batter into greased angel food, or bundt cake pan.

3Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before turning out on rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
