This is a wonderful harvest time cake, served warm with whipped cream or ice cream, it fills the house with a spicy fall aroma, and gets us in the mood for festive holidays to come.

Ingredients For pumpkin pie cake

  • 3 c
    pumpkin or a large can
  • 3 eggs
    beaten
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    cloves
  • 3/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk

How To Make pumpkin pie cake

    Mix all together, and pour into an 11 x 13 in. greased pan.

    also need 1 pkg white can mix, 1/2 cup of butter, and you may add pecans.

    sprinkle top of pumpkin mixture with cake mix and pat in, until well covered, melt butter and pour on top, sprinkle with pecans, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr or until done.
