I was given this recipe from a good friend. This cake is moist and has all the great flavors of pumpkin pie. I wanted something different one year for Thanksgiving, so I tried this. I am so glad that I did, and my family is too!

Ingredients For pumpkin pie cake
- CRUST

1 boxyellow cake mix (reserve one cup for topping)

1egg

1 stickmargarine (i use butter)
- FILLING

1 lgcan pumpkin pie mix(i have used pumpkin and added my own spice

2eggs

1/2 cmilk
- TOPPING

1 cof the dry cake mix

1/4 cpecans (i use walnuts)

1/2 stickhard margarine or butter
How To Make pumpkin pie cake

1Crust: Mix yellow cake mix, one egg, 1 stick margarine or butter. Spread in 9X13 inch pa.

2Filling: Mix can pumpkin pie mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk. Pour over 1st layer.

3Topping: Mix nuts, 1 cup of dry cake mix, 1/2 stick hard margarine or butter. Using pastry cutter mix until crumbly. Sprinkly over top (crunchy topping)

4Bake 350 45-50 minutes or until set. Let cool or serve warm with ice cream.
