I found this recipe on FB I believe.It is very moist and good, just tested it on myself and my husband,and both agree very good

Ingredients For pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting

  • 1 can
    (15oz.) solid-pack pumpkin
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    oil
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese (3 oz.)
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c
    softened butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 14
    pecan halves

How To Make pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting

    In a large bowl, beat the pumpkin,sugar,eggs,and oil till well blended.

    Combine the flour, baking soda , cinnamon,cloves,salt,ginger and nutmeg until well blended

    Pour into a greased and floured bunt pan. Bake 55 minutes on 350

    let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out and cool completely

    now in bowl, I use my kitchen aid for all the mixing. cream the butter and cream cheese till fluffy,add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth and creamy

    I top with the pecan. ENJOY
