Easy dense cake - great for fall! I used orange icing and pretzels to make it look like a pumpkin. Always looks better in my head!

Ingredients For pumpkin cake

  • 1 c
    very soft butter
  • 2 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 can
    pumpkin
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make pumpkin cake

  • 1
    Mix sugar, butter and oil. Add in eggs and pumpkin, then all other dry ingredients.

    Pour into greased bundt pan and bake for 55-65 minutes at 350.

    Add frosting or a glaze, but great alone as well.
