  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 2/3 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 16 oz
    canned pumpkin
  • 1 c
    cooking oil
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  • 6 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    margarine, softened
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 4 1/2 c
    powdered sugar, sifted

How To Make pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fareheit

    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and cloves.

    Stir in eggs, pumpkin, and oil til thoroughly combined.

    Spread batter into ungreased 15x10x1 pan. Bake for 25-30 min.

    TO PREPARE FROSTING: Beat cream cheese, margarine, and vanilla til light and fluffy.

    Gradually add 2 c. powdered sugar and beat well. Then gradually add enough powdered sugar to make the frosting spreadable
