This is my mother's recipe and is rather delicious! Not too sweet, and perfect for the Fall time of year. Enjoy!

Ingredients For pumpkin bars

4eggs

2 csugar
-
1 cvegetable oil

15 ozpumpkin, canned or cooked
- MIX THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS IN LARGE BOWL. SIFT THE FOLLOWING & ADD TO ABOVE, STIR

2 cflour

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspcloves
-
2 tspbaking powder

2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspginger
-
1 tspbaking soda
- BAKE AT 350 FOR 25 MINUTES IN 9X13 CAKE PAN
- FROSTING:

6 ozcream cheese, softened

1 tspvanilla
-
3/4 stickbutter, softened
-
4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make pumpkin bars

1Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.

2Sift the next 8 ingredients and add to the above, stir.

3Bake at 350 for 25 minutes in 9x13 cake pan.

4Mix the last 4 ingredients with mixer in bowl. Use to frost cooled pumpkin cake.
