I found this recipe a couple of years ago. And it was a big hit everyone enjoys this wonderful recipe.

Ingredients For pumpkin bars

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 4 md
    eggs
  • 15 oz
    canned pumpkin
  • 1 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    cooking oil
  • 3/4 c
    chopped pecans
  • 6 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    butter, soft
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2-3 c
    powdered sugar

How To Make pumpkin bars

    In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    In a large bowl beat together eggs, pumpkin, sugar, and oil. Add flour mixture mix well. Spread batter into greased cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

    Cream cheese frosting: Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Add powder sugar little at a time till you get a creamy frosting. Make sure cake is fully cooled and spread frosting on and serve.
