  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    wesson oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 c
    prunes (seeded)
  • 1 c
    black walnuts

How To Make prune pudding (it's a cake)

    Mix all ingredients together well and bake in large 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes.

    DRESSING: 1 Cup sugar 1 T. honey or syrup 1/2 Cup butter 1/2 Cup buttermilk

    Mix together and bring to a boil. Pour over the BAKED pudding. Return to the over for 5 or 10 minutes.
