Many years ago I won a free trip for submitting this delicious coffee cake recipe and we have enjoyed it even more after this.

Ingredients For prize winning coffee cake

  • 4 oz
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour, pre-sifted
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    cinnnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margerine
  • 1/2 c
    sugar

How To Make prize winning coffee cake

  • 1
    Grease and flour lightly a Bundt pan. Creme sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients. Add alternately with sour cream.

    Pour 1/2 of the batter into the Bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the topping mixture over the batter. Cover with remaining batter.

    Add 2 tablespoons butter to the remaining topping mixture. Dribble over the top. Bake at 350' for 45 minutes. Cool in pan and invert onto serving plate. Enjoy !!
