Ingredients For pineapple upsidedown

  • 2/3 c
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 can
    pineapple slice
  • 6 1/2 oz
    sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    pineapple juice
  • 8
    cherries

How To Make pineapple upsidedown

    Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Heat the pan over medium heat, add butter and brown sugar and let brown sugar melt and the mixture start to boil.

    When the butter and sugar boiling remove from heat and start adding whole pineapple slices to the bottom of the pan, add some cherrie to the hole in the whole pineapple slices.

    Whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together. Whisk the vanilla and pineapple juices and set asides.Cream the butter on medium speed , add the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg one at a time low to medium speed and add half of the flour mixture beat until just incorporated then add half of the pineapple juice to low speed then add half the remaing flour and the rest of the pineapple juice, beat until just incorporated.
