This family recipe has been use many times in my 80 years, about 50 times I would say, but don't quote me on that. This cake is moist and reminds me of a pineapple upside down cake --and everyone knows how much I love that.-----My friends and neighbors ask for the recipe and love when I bring it to cookouts. Ingredients For pineapple supreme sheet cake

20 ozcan crushed pineapple not drained

2 lgeggs

1 1/2 cgranulated sugar

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

2 call purpose flour

1/2 cbrown sugar (for top of batter)
- TOPPING

3/4 cevaporated milk , such as pet or carnation

1/4 cbutter
-
1 tspvanilla
-
1 cchopped walnuts

1 cgranulated sugar
How To Make pineapple supreme sheet cake

1For cake: Heat oven to 350^ Mix all ingredients together (except brown sugar). Pour into 9x13 inch lightly greased pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over top of batter, before baking. Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean/

2Topping: Bring all ingredients together and boil for 2 minutes., or more-until thickens slightly when dropped from spoon.(soft-ball stage) Pour over hot cake. Return cake to oven for 5 minutes.Cool on wire rack.

3Non cook frosting: 1 cup powdered sugar. 1 cup butter or margarine 2/3 cup pet milk warm 1 teaspoon vanilla nuts Combine sugar and butter and slowly add Pet milk and beat until sugar is dissolved and right spreading consistency. Add vanilla and spread on cake.. sprinkle with nuts.
