My Aunt Fay Barrett made one of these every weekend (seemed to me)when she came to visit. My Mama loved it. It's rich but wonderful, and keeps well.

Ingredients For pineapple pound cake

2 ccrisco shortening
-
1 tspvanilla extract

1 sm8 oz. undrained can crushed pineapple

3 csugar

3 cplain flour

1/2 tspsalt
How To Make pineapple pound cake

1Cream Crisco and sugar well. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add dry ingredients. Stir in pineapple and flavor.

2Pour into a large greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350* for 1 hr.20 min. Check for doneness after 1 hr.10 min. or when you smell it and its beginning to pull away from the sides of the pan.
