1/2 ccrisco shortening

1 cbutter

2 3/4 csugar

6eggs

3 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 cmilk

3/4 ccrushed pineapple, undrained

1 stickbutter

1 1/2 cconfectioner's sugar

1 ccrushed pineapple, drained
How To Make pineapple pound cake

1Pineapple Pound Cake - Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Cream thoroughly.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture one large spoonful at a time, alternately with milk.

4Add vanilla. Stir in crushed pineapple with juice and blend well.

5Pour into well greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350 for 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back when lightly touched.

6Let stand for a few minutes in pan. Move knife around edge and put onto cake plate. Pour glaze over warm cake.

7Pineapple Glaze - Cream butter and add confectioner's sugar and drained crushed pineapple. Pour over cake immediately.
