I discovered this recipe several years ago and bake it most often in the spring and summer. I like to add toppings according to the holiday , such as sitting peep chicks or jelly beans on top of the whipped topping for Easter.

Ingredients For pineapple cake

  • 1 -16 ounce package angel food cake mix
  • 1- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1- 12 ounce container whipped topping

How To Make pineapple cake

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 13X9 inch pan.

    Mix cake mix and undrained crushed pineapple in a bowl until well blended.

    Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top. Let cake cool completely and frost top with the whipped cream topping.
