This is the best chocolate cake I've ever had and my Mom has been making this since I was just a baby, it's the first cake I made when I was a kid and it's always my go-to cake. Just can't beat this homemade flavor and texture!!

1 3/4 call purpose flour

3/4 chershey's cocoa

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

2eggs
-
1 cmilk
-
1/2 cvegetable oil

2 tspvanilla extract

1 cboiling water
- "PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1 stickbutter or margarine
-
2/3 ccocoa
-
3 cpowdered sugar

1/3 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla
How To Make "perfectly chocolate" chocolate cake

1HEAT oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9-inch round pans (or spray with baking spray)

2COMBINE dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat 2 min. on medium speed. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into pans

3BAKE 30-35 min. Cool 10 min; remove to wire racks. Cool. Frost. If using a 13x9-inch pan bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 min.

4FOR THE FROSTING: Melt butter, stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add more milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla
