This wonderful frosting goes really well on a chocolate cake. It is a bit on the caramel side but with brown sugar flavor. This was my sister Jackie's favorite frosting. She always wanted mom to make it for her.

3/4 cbrown sugar

3/4 cwhite sugar

6 Tbspmilk

1 tspvanilla

dash of salt

1 Tbspkaro syrup

How To Make penuche (brown sugar) boiled frosting

1Mix and boil hard for one minute. Remove from heat and let cool a while. Then beat until easy to spread. Will cover a 9 x 13 cake.
