1/4 cbutter, at room temperature

2/3 cbrown sugar

1/2 cbuttermilk

2pears, sliced

1/2 cpecans, chopped

How To Make pear cinnamon-sugar cake

1Preheat oven to 400. Grease and flour 9" round cake pan.

2Beat butter and brown sugar until creamy.

3Add vanilla and egg and mix until combined.

4In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.

5Add to the mixer, alternating with buttermilk.

6Fold in half of the pecans.

7Spread batter in pan. Arrange pear slices on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and remaining pecans.

8Bake for 20 -25 minutes until edges are golden and center comes out with moist crumbs.

9Serve warm, if desired.
