Ingredients For peanut butter whoopie pies

1 boxcake mix, chocolate fudge
- FILLING

2 cmilk

10 Tbspflour

1 stickcrisco
-
1/2 cbutter
-
1 1/3 csugar

1 1/4 cpeanut butter
How To Make peanut butter whoopie pies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cake rounds: Prepare cake mix according to package directions with the exception of the water/milk required. Use approximately 1/4 less water than required. My mix required 1 1/3 cups water and i used 1 cup.

3Filling: Mix together milk and flour in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until mixture thickens and resembles mashed potatoes. Set aside to cool. Once mixture is cooled, cream together Crisco, butter, sugar, peanut butter and cooled mixture. Beat on high speed for approximately 5 mins. The filling will be fluffy and a light tan color.
