This new peanut butter cake recipe is gonna make you smile. It is filled with new peanut butter pudding (I created it). It is good for filling and icing.

Ingredients For peanut butter pudding cake

  • PEANUT BUTTER PUDDING
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1
    packet instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    creamy peanut butter, melted
  • CAKE
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 c
    hot water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 3 Tbsp
    peanut butter powder
  • 2 c
    peanut butter chips, divided

How To Make peanut butter pudding cake

    In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, half and half, vanilla pudding mix, cream cheese, and peanut butter; whisk well for 3 minutes until blended.

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x13 baking pan with parchment paper and coat with cooking spray.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix hot water, oil, eggs, and peanut butter powder with an electric mixer. Beat on low speed for 3 minutes.

    Pour half of the cake batter into a prepared baking pan. Spoon half of the peanut butter pudding and spread evenly.

    Sprinkle with 1 cup peanut butter chips. Continue to spread half of the cake batter on top.

    Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely.

    Spread the remaining peanut butter pudding onto the cooled cake. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter chips.
