This is to die for cake!!! I have made it plenty of times and every one loves it!!! It sound a bit complicated but it really isn't that hard. Just a lot of steps.

Ingredients For peanut butter meltaway cake

  • ADD IN A BOWL:
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2c c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • SET ASIDE
  • COMBINE IN A SAUCE PAN:
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    butter or oleo
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa
  • BRING TO A BOIL, THEN ADD TO FLOUR MIXTURE
  • COMBINE:
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • ADD THIS TO THE CHOCLATE MIXTURE

How To Make peanut butter meltaway cake

    BAKE AT 350* FOR 30 MIN. IN A GREASED 9X13 PAN

    COOL THE CAKE FOR 20 MIN.

    AFTER THE CAKE HAS COOLED 20 MIN. SPREAD WITH 1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER. If the PB is too thick microwave for 20 or 30 seconds so as not to lift the cake

    MIX AND BOIL FOR 2 MIN. : 1 stick butter or oleo 3T. cocoa 6T milk 2tsp. vanilla

    REMOVE FROM THE HEAT

    ADD: confectioners sugar (up to 1#)

    FROST THE CAKE AND ENJOY
