I found this recipe on a Pillsbury Moist Supreme Classic Yellow Cake Mix. With the summer holidays and family gatherings coming, this would be a great desert to bring.

Ingredients For over-the-top sundae cake

1 pkgpillsbury moist supreme classic yellow cake mix

1 cwater

1/3 ccooking oil

3eggs
-
2quarts vanilla ice cream, softened

2bananas sliced

12marachino cherries, with stems

1 csmucker's pineapple topping

1 csmucker's hot fudge topping

chopped nuts (optional)
How To Make over-the-top sundae cake

1bake cake as directed in 13x9-inch pan. Cool completely. Spread softened ice cream on top of cooled cake. Freeze 2 hours or overnight. Just before serving, top with sliced bananas and cherries; drizzle with toppings and chopped nuts (optional). Store covered in freezer.
