Ingredients For our 7 layer red velvet cake

2 1/2 ccake flour
-
1 1/2 csugar(or trivia)

3 Tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
-
1 1/4 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 1/2 cvegetable oil
-
1 cbuttermilk
-
2 lgeggs
-
1 bottle(1 oz)bottle of red food coloring
-
2 tsppure vanilla extract
-
1 tspvinegar
-
cream cheese frosting as follows
-
1 cbutter, unsalted softened
-
1 oz(8)oz package cream cheese softtened
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract
-
7 cconfectioners' sugar
-
1 c(garnish) chopped pecans.
How To Make our 7 layer red velvet cake

1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 * Grease and flour 2(9- inch) cake pans.

2IN LARGE BOWL , sift together flour,sugar,cocoa, baking soda, and salt. BEAT in oil, buttermilk, and eggs at medium speed with electric mixer until smooth.

3STIR in food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar. Pour3/4 cup of cake batter into cake pan,turning to distribute batter evenly.

4BAKE 10 minutes.LET cool in pans for 5 minutes;remove from pans,and let cool completely on the wire wrack.

5WASH the pans and dry pans; REPEAT PROCEDURE with the remaining batter until all the layers are baked.

6SPREAD the cream cheese frosting evenly between layers and on top and sides.GARNISH the cake with chopped pecans,on the rim of the cake bottom and top.
