3 csifted flour

3 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1 cmilk

1/4 corange juice

1 tspvanilla

1 tspgrated orange peel
- LEMON SYRUP

1 tspgrated lemon peel

1 tspgrated orange peel

1/4 clemon juice

1/4 corange juice
-
1/2 cconfectioners' sugar, sifted
How To Make orange butter cake with lemon syrup

1Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs, one at a time.

2Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with remaining ingredients.

3DO NOT POUR ORANGE JUICE AND MILK INTO THE SAME CUP!

4Pour batter into baking pan. Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing from pan.

5Mix together lemon peel, orange peel, lemon juice, and orange juice. Blend in confectioners' sugar.

6Drizzle over orange butter cake.
