This is my moms recipe, and I don't know where she got it from, but it's yummy! She sometimes even added raisins to it, I think about a cup of them. You can serve this w/out the frosting if you want to serve it w/ whipped cream or ice cream.

Ingredients For old fashioned spice cake

2 call purpose flour

1-1/3 csugar

4 tspbaking powder

1 tspbaking soda
-
1-1/2 tspallspice

1 tspcinnamon

110 oz can condensed cream of tomato soup

1 stickbutter
-
2eggs
-
1/4 cwater
-
18 oz pkg reduced fat cream cheese, softened

1/8 tspvanilla

3/4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make old fashioned spice cake

1Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. Place all ingredients, except for cream cheese 1/8 tsp vanilla and powdered sugar into lg bowl.

2Beat w/ mixer for about 4 mins, or until completely mixed. Pour batter into pan. Bake 40 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

3In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth, ( may have to add a tbsp of milk.)Frost cooled cake.
