1 1/2 cboiling water

1 cquick cooking oats

1 ccrisco

1 cwhite sugar

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

How To Make oatmeal cookie sheet cake

1Mix the boiling waterand otameal and set aside for 20 minutes. Cream together crisco, white and brown sugars. Add the 2 eggs and beat well. Mix 1 1/2 cups flour with 1/2 tspn salt, 1/2 tspn soda, 1 1/2 tspn cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture and beat. Then add 1 tspn vanilla and oatmeal and beat. Spread in a norml size cookie sheet WITH SIDES UP TO 1 INCH, Bake 35 minutes at 325 degrees. While cake bakes, make frosting. Melt 2 cube butter (Oleo); add 1/2 cup Pet Milk, 1 1.2 cups brown sugar, 1 cup coconut and 1/2 cup nuts. Pour over baked cake and BROIL at 500 degrees until frosting bubbles, turn heat low and put in oven and leave for 5 minutes.
