Ingredients For oatmeal cake

1 1/4 cwater, boiling

1 stickmargarine

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 csugar

1 tspvanilla extract

2slightly beaten eggs

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1 tspsoda

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspcinnamon
How To Make oatmeal cake

1Pour 1 1/4 cups boiling water over 1 cups oats let stand. Cream 1 stick margarine, 1 cup brown sugar,1 cup white sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Add 2 slightly beaten eggs, 1 1/2 cups flour, salt, 1 tsp soda, 1 tsp cinnamon. Add oat mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 min in a 13 X 9 pan

2Icing: 3 Tablespoons margarine 2/3 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup canned milk 1 cup coconut 1 cup pecans 2 egg yolks Mix well and spread on top of baked cake and broil icing for 10 min or until brown
