If you like chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate center then this is for you! I found this recipe and made a few adjustments, but thought I'd share this extremely more-ish recipe with everyone. This will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth!

Chocolate lovers... you are in for a treat. This chocolate molten cake is paradise. Serve hot and enjoy the ooey, gooey melted hazelnut center. This dessert will have you scraping the bottom of the ramekin and cherishing every last bite. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you'd like. This easy dessert is rich and delicious.

Ingredients For nutella molten chocolate cake

  • 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3 oz
    semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 8 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted, cut into pieces
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 6 Tbsp
    Nutella
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered sugar (if desired)

Don't bake past the 35 minute mark even if the cakes aren't cracked. You want a gooey center so a little undercooked is better than it being cooked until it's a solid cake.
  • Greasing ramekins with non-stick bakers spray.

    Preheat oven to 350F. Grease six 6 oz. ramekins.
  • Pouring water into a roasting pan.

    In an oven roasting dish pour in 1/2 inch of hot water. Place dish in the oven.
  • Whisking flour, cocoa, and baking powder together.

    In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa and baking powder.
  • Melting chocolate and butter in a bowl.

    Combine chocolate and butter in a bowl, microwave on high, stirring once or twice, until almost melted (approx. 1 minute). Whisk until smooth.
  • Beating eggs, vanilla, and sugar.

    In a separate bowl, beat eggs, vanilla extract, sugar and salt until pale yellow.
  • Adding melted chocolate to egg mixture.

    Beat in the melted chocolate mixture.
  • Stirring in flour mixture.

    Stir in the flour mixture.
  • Filling ramekins with batter.

    Fill all 6 ramekins halfway with batter.
  • Dropping Nutella into batter.

    Drop in 1 tbsp of Nutella into center of each.
  • Topping with remaining batter.

    Then cover with remaining batter.
  • Baking cakes in the water bath.

    Transfer ramekins to the roasting dish.
  • Bake until cakes have slightly cracked.

    Bake until cakes have risen and are cracked on top, about 35 minutes.
  • Sprinkling cake with powdered sugar.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
