I love a simple pound cake. The simpler the better. Sometimes it is not always about the frosting. This recipe is from a church cookbook right here in my own hometown....that makes it even better! It a nice cake for any occasion rather for a church function, family reunion, or just serving unexpected company. That good! I really love the simplicity of this cake....and I believe you will too. *Google pic*

Ingredients For nut cake

3 cself-rising flour, sifted

3 csugar
-
1/2 cchopped nuts

6eggs
-
dash of vanilla flavoring

1 lbbutter, melted

powder sugar
How To Make nut cake

1Sift flour and sugar.

2Add all other ingredients.

3Mix well

4Grease and flour a bundt pan.

5Pour in batter.

6Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

7Remove from oven.

8Cool a little bit before you sprinkle with powder sugar.
