Ingredients For nothing cake with coconut icing
- CAKE INGREDIENTS :

1/2 c(1 cube ) butter

1 1/2 csugar
-
2eggs
-
2 1/2 csifted flour
-
2 tspsoda
-
1 can(no. 2 ) crushed pineapple ; not drained

coconut icing below
- COCONUT ICING INGREDIENTS :

1 1/2 csugar
-
1/2 c(1 cube) butter
-
1 cevaporated milk
-
1 can( 1-1/3 cup ) flaked coconut
-
1 cchopped nuts
How To Make nothing cake with coconut icing

1FOR THE CAKE :

2Cream butter and sugar ; Beat in one egg at a time.

3Sift flour and soda ; Add to creamed mixture , alternately with crushed pineapple.

4Turn into a greased 9x13" pan.

5Bake @ 350° for 30-35 minutes until cake tests done.

6Cool cake then frost with icing.

7FOR ICING :

8Mix together sugar , butter and 1 cup evaporated milk in a sauce pan ; boil until thick , about 15 minutes.

9Remove from heat ; stir in coconut and nuts.
