Everyone loves this cake and wants my recipe. It is a near perfect dessert. Fast, easy, delicious and healthy. I was craving strawberries and something sweet and wonderful so I invented this recipe. Not a recipe like it that I can find. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends.

Ingredients For not guilty, not sorry strawberry angel cake

  • 1 box
    angel food cake mix
  • 21/2 c
    strawberries
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • whipped cream or cool whip

How To Make not guilty, not sorry strawberry angel cake

    Cut 2 1/2 cups strawberries into 1/4 in. pieces. Add the sugar and let rest at room temp for 1 hr. to extract juice from the berries.

    Place into mixing bowl and add water. Mix as directed on cake mix box.

    Pour into a 9x12 in UNGREASED pyrex cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 36 min. Do not open oven door while baking.

    Top with whipped topping and garnish each piece with a strawberry if desired when cool.
