Did you ever want Brownies really bad, but when you got to the cupboard, you had no Brownie Mix???? Well, here is a solution. I hope you like it.

Ingredients For no brownie mix, chewy brownies

  • 1 pkg
    any flavor chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts of your choice (optional)

How To Make no brownie mix, chewy brownies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

    Mix together the cake mix, butter, and eggs until the cake mix is completely absorbed. Stir in the chocolate chips and the nuts (if you are using the nuts).

    Press the stiff dough evenly into the 9x13 inch baking dish.

    Bake for 26 - 30 minutes. When cooled cut into squares and serve.
