This has been a long time favorite in my family. (it was my Nana's recipe) the original recipe called for 2 big handfuls of berries !

1/2 cgranulated sugar

1/2 call purpose flour

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1 stickbutter (softened)
- CAKE

2 call purpose flour

3/4 cgranulated sugar

1 stickbutter (softened)

1 lgegg (room temp)

4 Tbspsour cream
-
3 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 ptfresh blueberries ( remove any unripened) or 1 1/2 c frozen
How To Make nana wolfe's blueberry coffeecake

1Preheat oven 375

2beat together topping ingredients til smooth & creamy, set aside.

3mix all cake ing. except lemon juice & berries. mix till smooth (do not overbeat)

4add in lemon juice, mix well

5fold in berries
-
6pour into GREASED & FLOURED pan (9x9 sq, 9" round or 7 x 11 pan ( I like using the 7 x 11 pan)

7bake at 375 for 25 minutes, remove from oven, spread topping mix gently over entire cake ( it will melt ) return to oven & continue baking for 25 more minutes. can be served warm or cold & can be glazed if so desired. Enjoy !
